TEEN ATTACK: Knife-Wielding Man FLEES Into Barbershop!

Just days before a terrifying ordeal unfolded on a high-speed train, Anthony Williams, a 32-year-old man, was casually photographed in a Peterborough barbershop – a stark contrast to the chaos he would soon unleash.

The train, traveling at speed, was abruptly forced into an emergency stop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, following a flurry of urgent calls to police at 7:42 pm. A scene of unimaginable fear and violence had erupted within its carriages.

An LNER staff member is currently fighting for recovery in a hospital, listed in critical but stable condition, a direct result of the brutal stabbings. Four other individuals also remain hospitalized, bearing the physical and emotional scars of the attack.

Anthony Williams, 32, from Peterborough, was arrested moments after the LNER train from Doncaster to London King?s Cross was brought to a halt at Huntingdon station on Saturday evening.

Williams now faces a staggering ten counts of attempted murder, one charge of actual bodily harm, and one count of possessing a bladed article – all stemming from the harrowing incident aboard the train. The gravity of the accusations paints a chilling picture of calculated violence.

The attacks didn’t end there. Authorities have also charged Williams in connection with a separate assault in east London on Saturday, alleging he attempted to murder another individual at Pontoon Dock DLR station. The victim suffered facial injuries after being attacked with a knife.

Court documents reveal a disturbing consistency: a ‘large kitchen knife’ was allegedly wielded by Williams in both attacks, suggesting a deliberate and terrifying method. The weapon’s simplicity belies the profound damage it inflicted.

During his court appearance, Williams, appearing in handcuffs and flanked by four security officers, spoke softly to confirm his basic details. When asked for his address, he simply mumbled, “No fixed abode,” offering little insight into his motivations.

Investigators have confirmed that Williams was not previously known to security services or counter-terrorism policing, nor had he ever been referred to the Government’s Prevent anti-extremism scheme. This lack of prior warning adds another layer of complexity to the case.

Prosecutor Olaide Esan argued vehemently against bail, stating that Williams had “attempted to murder 11 people in total.” She emphasized the severity of the charges and the clear danger he posed, declaring him “a risk to the trains and to the members of the public.”

Adding to the charges, Williams is also accused of assaulting a police officer while in custody, inflicting a broken nose upon the responding law enforcement official. This act of aggression further underscores the volatile nature of the situation.

The list of alleged victims is extensive: Scott Bletcher, Michael Paffett, Kevin Deely, Jonathan Gjoshe, David Presland, Sachin Balakrishnan, Stephen Crean, Samir Zitouni, Rasza Aslam, Scott Green, and Isaiah Ishmael Idris – each name representing a life irrevocably altered by the events of that day.

Williams has been remanded into custody, awaiting further proceedings. The investigation continues, meticulously piecing together the events that led to this shocking outbreak of violence.
