Vogue Williams, fresh from dropping her children at school, openly joked about feeling as though she had been “literally rotting” during her recent stint on a popular reality show. The experience, she explained, left her craving a serious return to her usual beauty regimen.
Arriving at a well-known beauty clinic, she prepared for a series of treatments, having already applied numbing cream. She admitted to hoping for an “intense” rejuvenation, a stark contrast to the minimal skincare available in the jungle.
Life in camp meant only basic lotion, soap, and water – a far cry from the elaborate routines she’s accustomed to. Williams confessed to a recent skin breakout, a direct result of the change in environment and lack of proper care.
The beautician immediately got to work, employing a combination of massage, lasers, and specialized creams. Williams described the experience as feeling like “Christmas,” a welcome indulgence after weeks of deprivation.
The treatments weren’t gentle. Afterward, her complexion was visibly reddened, a testament to the “everything” that had been done. She detailed extractions, a procedure to remove impurities, and even a laser treatment specifically targeting acne.
Beyond skincare, she also addressed unwanted hair and opted for skin-tightening procedures, believing them to be particularly effective. She playfully dubbed the results her “Christmas skin,” a fresh start after the challenging jungle experience.
She even joked about noticing the emergence of grey hairs, a relatable sign of stress and the passage of time. “I’m literally rotting,” she quipped, but firmly declared she wouldn’t embrace the greys.
Her time on the show, lasting thirteen days, was a significant change of pace. She’s now back home, reunited with her children – Gigi, Otto, and Theodore – and her husband, Spencer Matthews.
Matthews, who was simultaneously undertaking a grueling series of Ironman triathlons across multiple continents, publicly expressed his pride and support for his wife throughout her time in the jungle. He eagerly anticipated their reunion.
Williams herself admitted to mixed emotions upon her elimination, acknowledging the growing hardship of the experience, particularly the constant hunger. Yet, she also confessed to enjoying the unique camaraderie and challenges the show presented.
Despite being “sad to leave,” she ultimately found relief in returning to a more comfortable and familiar environment, ready to reclaim her self-care routine and reconnect with her family.
