A call to arms is echoing through the streets of Minneapolis, issued by a self-identified Antifa member named Kyle Wagner. Following a shooting involving federal agents this past weekend, Wagner is urging his followers to prepare for direct confrontation.
Using the Instagram handle @KAOS_FOLLOWS, Wagner has been posting a series of increasingly urgent videos. These aren’t appeals for peaceful demonstration; they are explicit instructions for assembling and bringing firearms to the city.
“My name is Kyle. I’m Antifa,” he states plainly in one video, immediately followed by a stark demand: “Suit up and meet at Nicollet and 26th Street.” The message leaves no room for interpretation – this is a mobilization for something far beyond traditional protest.
Wagner’s rhetoric has escalated dramatically, abandoning any pretense of dialogue. He directly implores his followers to “get your f-cking guns and stop these f-cking people,” framing the situation as a moment requiring immediate, forceful action.
He expressed frustration that a previous call for an armed march on the Whipple Building hadn’t been answered, suggesting a level of expectation for a more aggressive response from his network.
The catalyst for this escalation was a shooting involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents. According to the Department of Homeland Security, the incident occurred when a man approached the officers while brandishing a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, leading them to use lethal force in what they described as self-defense.
Beyond calls for armed resistance, Wagner has also requested financial support from his followers. He frames these requests as contributions to “freedom and defense,” characterizing the unfolding events as a “guerrilla war in the streets,” but remains vague about the specific use of the funds.
Wagner is actively present at the ongoing unrest in Minneapolis, continuing to document and direct events through his social media channels. The situation remains volatile, and local authorities have yet to publicly address Wagner’s calls for armed uprising.
The city is currently experiencing significant unrest, with a noticeable absence of intervention from local Democratic leaders, leaving a power vacuum as Wagner attempts to rally his followers.
