BORDER MAYHEM: Smugglers CRASH & RUN – Dramatic Arrest Caught on Camera!

A dramatic shift has taken hold at the border. Since resuming office, President Trump has enacted policies resulting in a reported 99 percent decrease in border crossings, fulfilling a key campaign promise.

However, the consequences of the previous administration’s policies linger. Millions entered the country during a period of open borders, a situation officials believe will create challenges for years to come, despite the current administration’s efforts.

Recently, in Starr County, Texas, a high-speed chase unfolded involving a suspected human smuggler. Silvano Garcia initially allowed a young Honduran migrant to flee his vehicle before attempting to evade law enforcement.

Police dashcam footage captures a nighttime scene with a figure walking near parked vehicles and a green trash can in a dimly lit area.

The pursuit ended when Garcia crashed into a fence, then fled on foot with a passenger, Lazaro Berrera. Both men were apprehended by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers and face charges of evading arrest and human smuggling of a minor.

This incident is not isolated. Texas, as a frontline border state, has witnessed a surge in these types of encounters, a direct result of the increased flow of migrants during the prior four years.

Just weeks before, DPS troopers in Laredo engaged in another high-speed chase, this time involving a smuggler transporting ten individuals. The chase culminated in a collision with a commercial vehicle.

These arrests signal a renewed focus on border security and a return to stricter enforcement. Officials emphasize a commitment to restoring law and order along the nation’s southern border.

The federal government’s responsibility to protect against invasion is enshrined in the United States Constitution. Article IV, Section 4 explicitly states the duty to “protect each [state] against Invasion.”

This constitutional clause underscores the gravity of border security and the federal government’s obligation to safeguard the nation from threats crossing its borders, a principle now being actively pursued.
